Engineering Services for Fire Department Construction

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is seeking engineering services for the construction of a new fire department building at the North Campus. This fire department serves as a safety facility for fire protection across the entire campus, supporting KIT, KTE, and JRC. It also serves as a training center for fire safety professionals and provides consulting services in technical and structural fire protection planning. The site preparation and related infrastructure development must be completed before the start of the shell construction work in the second quarter of 2027. This tender includes the necessary planning services. Project planning and organizational coordination will involve collaboration between internal departments at KIT, including PB, VEA, FM, and the general planner appointed by KIT. The general planning services will cover object planning, structural planning, HVAC, as well as planning for outdoor and traffic facilities, considering areas up to 1 meter from the building and surrounding handover points.
