    Brief

    The Fraunhofer Center for Silicon Photovoltaics (CSP) has been operating a high-resolution Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) mass spectrometer since 2008, which was supplemented in 2019 with a triple quadrupole ICP mass spectrometer. This equipment is primarily used to analyze samples from the photovoltaic and semiconductor sectors for trace element content after chemical digestion or surface analysis. The existing device from 2008 needs to be replaced with a new high-resolution ICP mass spectrometer.
