Floating Support Service for Homeless Prevention

Wirral Council is seeking a provider to deliver a non-accommodation based floating support service that offers housing-related support to vulnerable people at risk of homelessness. The service will support at least 150 service users at any one time, helping them maintain independent living, develop life skills, and achieve long-term housing stability. Working in partnership with service users, families, carers and other professionals, the provider will deliver solution-focused support to prevent homelessness, reduce crisis presentations, and enable people to live independently in the community. The service will address multiple support needs including financial management, mental and physical health, substance misuse, relationship skills, employment readiness, and social inclusion. The provider must work collaboratively with housing and homelessness teams to help service users move into appropriate accommodation, including the private rented sector, and sustain their housing successfully.
