Neath Port Talbot Council Minor Works Framework - Supplier Meet The Buyer Event

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is hosting a pre-market engagement event to discuss an upcoming Minor Works Open Framework procurement. Suppliers in construction and building services are invited to attend on Wednesday 2 September 2026 (8:30am-1:00pm) at Blanco's Hotel & Restaurant, Green Park, Port Talbot SA12 6NT. The framework will include nine lot categories: Roofing, Specialist Flooring, Scaffolding, Mechanical (Air-conditioning, Heating, Plumbing), Electrical, General Minor Works under £50,000, General Minor Works £50,000-£250,000, Fencing, and Glazing. At the event, council officers will present the scope of works, lot structure, procurement process, timetable, and social value requirements. Business Wales representatives will provide guidance on bidding through Sell2Wales. The event includes presentations followed by breakout discussions with council officers, examples of typical works, call-off processes, and framework re-assessment procedures. Tea and coffee will be provided. Companies may send up to 2 attendees. Registration is required via the online booking link. This Welsh Government-supported initiative is delivered by Business Wales.
