Traffic Management Services for Old Oak Common Station

Balfour Beatty VINCI Systra JV is seeking a subcontractor to provide comprehensive traffic management services for the Old Oak Common Phase 2 project. The subcontractor will be responsible for designing, installing, monitoring, and coordinating all traffic management arrangements in the Old Oak Common area. Key responsibilities include creating traffic management drawings and schemes for each phase, delivering and installing necessary equipment, and producing custom signage as needed. The subcontractor will also facilitate access for utility companies and provide road safety audit support. Traffic management operatives will be required to manually control traffic signals, perform maintenance, and conduct inspections, with emergency traffic management available upon request. Coordination with other stakeholders is essential to ensure that traffic management schemes are effective and timely, allowing for a safe working environment and minimal disruption to other works. The subcontractor must also gather permits and necessary approvals from stakeholders. All materials, labor, management, equipment, supervision, and administrative support must comply with HS2 health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. This includes providing named management personnel, maintaining an office presence at Old Oak Common, attending on-site meetings, managing workforce fatigue, and installing temporary pedestrian routes if necessary.
