Cumulative Effects Assessment Development for OSPAR Region

This technical assistance opportunity involves developing a Cumulative Effects Assessment (CEA) for the OSPAR maritime region to support the Intermediate Assessment 2029. The assessment will evaluate the combined impacts of multiple human activities and environmental stressors on marine ecosystems within the OSPAR Convention area (Northeast Atlantic). The successful contractor will work with OSPAR member states and international partners to synthesize existing data, identify cumulative pressures, and provide scientific evidence to inform marine management decisions. This is a specialized assignment requiring expertise in marine environmental assessment, data integration, and international regulatory frameworks. The deliverables will contribute to OSPAR's strategic assessment cycle and support implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive.
