EV Charge Point Data Aggregation

The UK government is seeking a supplier to aggregate real-time data from public electric vehicle (EV) charge points. This is in response to the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023, which require EV Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to provide accurate charge point data through the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol by November 24, 2024. The goal is to ensure that consumers have access to reliable and timely information about public charge points, helping them find and use the most suitable options for their needs. The selected supplier will be responsible for performing data quality checks and submitting the aggregated data to the Department for Transport (DfT) for regulatory and policy purposes. This procurement does not require the development of a new data platform, as the focus is on effective use of existing open data.
