Weed Control Services for Dacorum Borough Council

Dacorum Borough Council is conducting a market engagement exercise to identify qualified suppliers for herbicide application and weed control services. The council manages weeds across highways, housing developments, and garage sites throughout the borough and seeks contractors with experience in amenity weed control. The primary approach will use glyphosate-based herbicides applied safely and legally with targeted methods. The council is also interested in learning about alternative or complementary weed control approaches suitable for sensitive areas, environmental protection, access-constrained locations, and areas where public concern or future regulatory changes may affect treatment methods. All responses must be submitted via the Supply Hertfordshire e-tendering portal by 5pm on Friday 14th August 2026. Registration on the portal is free.
