Play Area Surfacing and Equipment Replacement in Blandford Forum

Blandford Forum Town Council is inviting tenders for the refurbishment of three play areas. The project includes the following key tasks: 1. **Langton Play Area**: - Replace surfacing under Toddler Swing, Spring Rocker, and Multi-Play Tower (basket swing to be removed). - Remove and dispose of existing edgings and surface. - Regrade and compact the subbase level. - Supply and install new surfacing and wear pads under swing seats. - Replace grass mats under large multipurpose play equipment. - Remove and replace existing balance bar from the fitness trail. 2. **Larksmead Play Area**: - Replace surfacing under Toddler Swing, Basket Swing Set, Spinner, Sit-On Spinner, Junior Swing, and See-Saw (excludes two items as noted in Appendix A). - Remove and dispose of existing edgings and surface. - Regrade and compact the subbase level. - Supply and install new surfacing and wear pads under swing seats. - Remove and replace existing Seesaw and quad springer, and replace two flat swing seats and one cradle swing (including seat, shackles, and chains). 3. **Park Road Play Area**: - Replace surfacing under Toddler Swings, Spinning Bowl, Springer, and New Multi Play unit. - Remove and dispose of existing edgings and surface. - Regrade and compact the subbase level. - Supply and install new surfacing and wear pads under swing seats. - Remove and replace existing Tower Multi-Play Unit and cradle swing (including seat, shackles, and chains).
