    Brief

    Southampton City Council is procuring a comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment and support service for young people aged up to 24 years. The service will provide information, advice, harm reduction strategies, care coordination, psychosocial interventions, and support for medical treatments. The provider will support young people across the full spectrum of goals, including safer use, reduction, cessation, and sustained recovery from alcohol and drugs. The service will also address tobacco-related harm and novel nicotine products including vaping. The service is evidence-based, tailored to young people's needs, and designed to reduce health inequalities across Southampton. The initial contract period runs from 1 July 2026 to 31 March 2029 (33 months) valued at £2,917,096 (ex VAT), with a council option to extend for up to 36 additional months, bringing the maximum total contract value to £6,028,738.92 (ex VAT). This opportunity is being awarded under Direct Award Procedure C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
