Intelligent Transport Systems Equipment Frameworks - Ireland

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is establishing nine framework lots for the TII492 Intelligent Transport Systems Equipment Frameworks Generation 2 programme over a four-year term. Lots 1, 2, and 3A-3F (estimated maximum value €27 million) will support TII's ITS equipment requirements for maintaining, renewing, and expanding the roadside ITS network linked to the Motorway Operations Control Centre in Dublin. This includes procurement of ITS equipment, installation services, and associated civil works. Lot 4 (estimated maximum value €48 million) will establish a framework for local authorities to procure and install Periodic School Limit (PSL) signage nationwide in compliance with Government directive. TII will establish and oversee Lot 4 but does not expect to use it directly, though retains the option to do so. Local authorities will conduct mini-competitions and fund Lot 4 call-off contracts. The total estimated maximum framework value is €75 million. Suppliers should note that TII directly manages Lots 1-3 procurement while Lot 4 supports local authority purchasing through a shared framework.
